Went fishing with my buddy Shawn on the rim this weekend. We had a great time, and the 2nd day we both got into some fish. The weather was a cool 72 degrees but we both managed to get sunburned the first day. Put sunblock on the 2nd day and fished in the shade. Highlights were seeing a bald eagle, a black bear and catching some decent sized rainbow trout.

Lees Ferry

Fished Lees Ferry with my buddies Tony and Ralph, we had a great time even though we didn’t see a lot of fish. I think the total for the day was 5, and only one of those was mine and I worked for that guy. Beautiful scenery though and there were only 5 other boats on the river all day. As soon as we were packing the car to come home, I was ready to come back.
